Yard Sign Rental Policy

By renting lawn items (ornaments, signs, stakes, etc.) from The NICU Family Collective, you agree to the following items under both Rental Agreement & Refund Policy.

RENTAL AGREEMENT

  • A minimum donation of $250 is required at the time of order to confirm and secure your date. Delivery date of yard items are not confirmed/secured until payment is received. If you would like to submit a check, please follow the instructions below and note that delivery date will be confirmed/secured once your check is received and cleared. 

    • Make your check out to The NICU Family Collective

    • In the memo line, write Deck the Yard! Fundraiser

    • Please include with your check your phone number & contact information

    • Mail to The NICU Family Collective, PO Box 3943, Wilmington, NC 28406

  • You will be invoiced for missing or damaged lawn display items. Each missing or damaged lawn ornament or lawn sign will be invoiced at $30 per item. 

  • For the safety of everyone, especially children, please DO NOT allow anyone to play on or around the lawn greeting display. Our display items WILL NOT safely support the weight of a child or adult leaning, sitting or playing on it.

  • Do not move the items.

  • Don’t throw lawn display items in the garbage, or vandalize the signs. Even if you do not like the display gift given to you, these items are our property and business. It is best to notify the honoree to not touch the display, as you are still responsible for it.

  • Please protect our inventory from any damage that might be caused due to flying debris from lawnmowers, dogs, etc.

  • Please do not attach balloons to any part of the display.

  • If you have a lawn crew, please arrange for them to come on a date that the letters are NOT on the lawn. Grass clippings stain our letters.

  • We encourage you to pose next to the display to take photographs of your celebration. However, please do not pull the signs from the ground. The NICU Family Collective and all representatives and volunteers are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during set-up and removal of any rental.

REFUND POLICY

  • If you must reschedule your booking, we will do our best to provide an alternative date. Reservation dates are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to accommodate your reschedule request, no refunds will be given. 

  • In the event of inclement or hazardous weather, we may not be able to set up any lawn displays.

  • No refunds will be given due to client giving us the wrong address.

  • No refunds will be given due to the homeowner requesting us to remove the lawn display.

  • No refunds will be given due to yard conditions that prevents the display from being set up (i.e. hard ground, rocks, etc).

  • No refunds will be given due to animals preventing the display from being set up.

  • No refunds will be given for being denied access to a gated community.
