Let’s Deck the Yard! to support local NICU families this holiday season! 

For a minimum $250 donation to The NICU Family Collective, volunteers will deck your yard (or a friend or family member’s yard!) with 20 large, colorful Christmas ornaments for just 4 days. This is a fun way to get into the holiday spirit and support NICU families in southeastern North Carolina. 

This is a rendering intended to give you an idea of what the display may look like in your yard.

How will your Deck the Yard! donation be used?

The NICU Family Collective will use Deck the Yard! proceeds to provide a warm and cozy meal to families with a baby in the NICU this holiday season. In fact, each ornament in your yard will provide one meal to a family in the NICU – that’s 20 local NICU families that you can support this holiday season!

How to Deck the Yard!

Please click here to complete the accompanying Google Form and reserve your delivery date. There is only ONE available installation slot per day so if you have a specific date in mind, go ahead and grab your slot! Once a date is full, we will do our best to update the Google Form as quickly as possible. We will also confirm your reservation date via email upon Google Form submission.

After you submit the Google Form, you will receive an email from contact@nicufamilycollective.org to the email address that you provide. This email will allow us to confirm your installation date, gather any outstanding details, and confirm your donation.

Each installation date that you sign up for is a minimum $250 donation to The NICU Family Collective. Donations will be due within 72 hours of receiving your confirmation email. If your donation is not received within 72 hours, your date reservation will be released and forfeited.

Installation dates are subject to availability and are not confirmed until we have received both your completed Google Form and your donation (minimum $250).

When can I expect the ornaments in my yard?

Ornaments will be placed in your yard (or the address that you submit to us via email) by volunteers the evening of the date you select. Ornaments will remain up for about 4 days when a volunteer will come collect them from your yard. Then they are off to their next yard!

Delivery within New Hanover County only. Delivery outside New Hanover County is subject to a fee and at the discretion of the organization. If you wish to inquire about a delivery address that is outside of New Hanover County, please email contact@nicufamilycollective.org.

Can I Deck the Yard for a friend or family member?

Yes! We have lots of grandparents that will Deck the Yard for their grandchildren so that they can wake up to a fun and festive surprise in their front yard. We do ask that you please be sure to let the homeowner know that a fun surprise will be delivered to their front yard on the date that you have reserved.
